"The aim with this ambitious project in the long term will be to showcase every research asset in the state of New Jersey – from industry, academia and government."
Princeton's work continues as one of five universities to participate in the pilot of a research asset database with the State of New Jersey. Recently, Elsevier featured the development of this project in an article on their website. The database is being built on Elsevier's PURE platform and is set to launch in early June.
“The portal will serve as a gateway to innovation, allowing us to better market commercial ideas and products and attract more federal funds to ensure groundbreaking work can continue at our world-class institutions.”
--Former NJ Secretary of Higher Education Rochelle Hendricks.
The Office of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations is coordinating Princeton's participation. For more information on the database and how it can be used by faculty and by industry to identify possible research collaborators, please contact CEFR Director Coleen Burrus at firstname.lastname@example.org.
