Braverman, Weinberg and Majumdar Receive Google AI Research Awards

Princeton professors Mark Braverman, Matt Weinberg and Anirudha Majumdar have been named recipients of Google AI's 2019 Faculty Research Awards.

These awards give academic faculty the opportunity to partner with Google researchers; the awards also cover tuition for a student.  The company received 917 proposals from more than 330 universities worldwide, selecting 150 for funding. Professors Braverman and Weinberg are in the Princeton Computer Science department and received awards related to "Algorithms and Optimization." Professor Majumdar is a member of the Mechanical and Aerospace Department.
