Organizations such as Microsoft, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and Schlumberger return yearly, while others are first-time participants. All of the companies offer full-time positions, and some offer summer internships. The students attending are largely undergraduates, but also include graduate students and post-doctorate researchers. Most of the positions cater to students majoring in science, engineering, and math, but recruiters are typically open to hiring students from a wider array of academic fields who have quantitative and analytical skills.
Company representatives will be answering questions ranging from how their interview process works to what they enjoy most about their jobs.
The event, held annually since the 1980's, is co-sponsored by the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Center for Career Development. Please do not hesitate to contact the undergraduate affairs administrator, Traci Miller, at email@example.com with any questions or concerns you may have.
